  Bought seafood platter and food was average, calamari was so tasteless that even with sauce we didn't finish it. Tried to do a wine tasting, joining the queue and when we got to the front the server walked off and basically ignored us for 5 minutes. Finished tasting and wanted to buy a bottle but again he disappeared and served other people. Took us another 5 minutes to flag him down again. Do not understand why to drink a bottle there it's an extra $7, no reason for this and ridiculous to charge extra!

  So close and yet so far. We came here for lunch and asked if we could do a tasting beforehand, we'd been touring the Valley that day buying wine everywhere we went and were fully prepared to buy a few bottles. Unfortunately the staff member made sure we knew that we were inconveniencing her by asking to taste, and told us that they'd "very generously" let us try two wines because we were buying from the restaurant, but we had to pay if we wanted any more (there was also no clarification if they refund the tasting fee on purchase, which we don't mind paying for as we always buy - she just assumed we were freewheeling). That definitely put us off buying any wine to take home. The food was nice but expensive for what it was, especially considering there was no atmosphere (there was even paper serviettes in a cafe dispenser on the table). Overall we really wanted to like this place, the wine was decent but we've been to dozens of wineries in Australia and this was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. We definitely won't be coming back.

  We went today for lunch and it was amazing. Everything we ordered was perfect. The garlic bread, beer battered chips, my husband got the garlic prawns and I ordered the cheese filo. The service was great with a beautiful view. And the pina colada I got was well worth the money. Such an enjoyable visit.

  Service was great, staff were friendly, 2 of our table had scotch fillet which was cooked as ordered but chewy and without much taste. My fish meal was good and number 2 daughter loved her burger. Almost forgot, the wine was good too

  Worst winery experience I have ever had!
  The lady (whom I think was the manager) was rude, we asked to do a wine tasting before lunch, we felt we were putting her out (even though it is a winery)! We were immediately told we would be charged for tastings, they really take the work taste literal.
  The food was terrible, advertising a French chef, he has really lost his way, and ability to cook it seems.
  The restaurant was dirty, full of flies, cobwebs and very dark. The amenities were also dirty.
  We could not wait to leave, and this is in summer, during one of there peak trading periods.
  The only positive was the South African male waiter, who was pleasant.
  Would not recommend or will be returning.
  Very disappointed.

  Lovely weekday lunch. Staff very friendly and accomodating to our late arrival. Candle on dessert and a little gift for the birthday lady in our party
